What is 2FA?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your login and helps prevent unauthorised access.
When 2FA is enabled, you must complete two steps to log in:
Enter your password
Enter a one-time code generated by a mobile authentication app
This means that even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the code from your device.
What You Need
To enable 2FA, you will need:
An active Sportmarket Main account
A mobile authentication app installed on your device (for example, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator)
How to Set Up 2FA
Follow these steps to set up Two-Factor Authentication:
Log in to your Sportmarket Main account
Go to User Info in the left-hand menu
Open the Security tab
Click "Add Two-Factor Auth"
Scan the QR code displayed on your screen using your 2FA app
Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) generated by the app
Click "Confirm 2FA"
Important:
The QR code shown in the example screenshot is for illustration only.
To activate 2FA, always scan the unique QR code displayed in your own account.
What Happens After Activation?
Once 2FA is enabled, you will need to enter a verification code each time you log in.
After entering your Sportmarket account password, open your 2FA app and enter the current one-time code displayed.
The code refreshes automatically every few seconds. If a code expires, simply enter the new one shown in the app.
How to Disable 2FA
If you wish to remove Two-Factor Authentication:
Log in to your Sportmarket Main account
Go to User Info in the left-hand menu
Open the Security tab
Enter a valid One-Time Password (OTP) from your 2FA app
Click “Disable Two-Factor Authentication”
The 2FA will then be removed from your account.
