Understanding Turnover at Sportmarket
Turnover can be confusing, especially when you’re using bonuses, cashback, or promotions. This article explains the two types of turnover you’ll see on Sportmarket and when each one applies.
Stake Turnover
Stake Turnover is the total amount you bet — simply how much you put on the table.
It applies to regular withdrawals where no bonus, cashback, or promotion is involved.
Valid Turnover
To calculate Valid Turnover for a bet, we compare two values:
Your stake
Your potential profit (Stake × Odds – Stake)
The Valid Turnover is the smaller of these two values. This makes the turnover requirement fair and based on real risk.
Valid Turnover applies to withdrawals when a bonus, cashback, or promotion includes a turnover requirement.
Examples of Valid Turnover
Here’s how it works in practice:
Bet €100 @ 1.30
Potential Profit: €30
➤ Valid Turnover = €30Bet €50 @ 2.50
Potential Profit: €75
➤ Valid Turnover = €50
Only settled, non-void bets count towards Valid Turnover.
Why We Use Valid Turnover
Different bets carry different levels of risk. For example:
Very low-odds bets offer limited risk and very little profit.
Higher-risk bets offer real exposure.
If we counted only the stake for every bet, people could meet requirements with low-risk bets without meaningful play. Valid Turnover makes the system fairer and prevents that kind of behaviour.
Where to Check Your Turnover
You can monitor your price-adjusted (Valid) turnover directly inside the Sportmarket Betting Platform.
Go to:
Settings → Analytics
There, you’ll find your tracked turnover data, including the price-adjusted figures used for promotional requirements.
📌 Quick Summary
